The Natrona girls and Kelly Walsh boys claimed Casper Cup soccer wins on Thursday at Cheney Alumni Field at Natrona High School. In the girls match Natrona shutout Kelly Walsh 4-0. Freshman Sarah Jones with 3 goals and Erin Devault also scored. NC ups their record to 11-2-1 and secures the number one seed in the 4A West Regional Tournament next week and an automatic berth into the state tournament. Kelly Walsh falls to 8-6.

In the boys match, Kelly Walsh with a 2-1 win over Natrona. Kenny Harold with both goals for the Trojans who improved to 6-5-3 on the season. Breckon Biggs had the lone NC goal on a penalty kick. The Mustangs drop to 3-11. The 4A West Regional Tournament will be held in Evanston starting on Thursday.

In men's college basketball, Casper College player Dominique Lee has signed with Northern College, the school that former T-Bird Head Coach Joel Davidson is going to as well as teammate Corey Spence. Lee averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds a game last season.

In the NBA playoffs, the season for the Denver Nuggets ended Thursday night as they were eliminated by the Golden State Warriors 92-88. Golden State won the opening series 4 games to 2. Stehpen Curry had 22 points and 8 assists for Golden State. Andrew Bogut had 14 points and 21 rebounds. The Nuggets had a furious rally in the 4th quarter after trailing by 18 points. The Nuggets won 23 of their last 26 games to earn the 3rd seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

The Wyoming Cavalry indoor football team at home tonight to meet the Colorado Ice. It's been a struggle for the Cavs this season. They're 1-6 and sit at the bottom of the Indoor Football League. They've been averaging just 25 points a game and giving up an average of 51. This is the first of 3 straight home games for the Cavalry. Colorado comes in at 5-3. That will be a 7pm start from the Casper Events Center tonight.
