Jones Signs With Missouri

Kelly Walsh swimmer Iliana Jones signed a letter of intent with the University of Missouri. Jones earned All-American status in 2 events at the state championships back in October; the 50 meter freestyle and the 100 meter freestyle. Jones also looked at Boise State, New Mexico and North Dakota before deciding on with Missouri. Former KW athlete Kristen Heiss is an assistant swimming coach at Mizzou and that was part of the connection. Jones would like to swim the Olympic trials and maybe qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil.
