K-W Starts Season On Wrong Foot

The Kelly Walsh football team went to Gillette on Friday and absorbed a 54-0 defeat. The Trojans have not won in Gillette since 1981 and fell behind 40-0 at halftime. The Camels had close to 400 yards of offense in the first half, KW had less than 50. Kade Greer and Talon Nelson each had 2 touchdowns for Gillette. Kelly Walsh will have their home opener on Friday at the Harry Geldien Stadium, hosting Sheridan.
