The Kelly Walsh basketball teams enjoyed a nice weekend with home wins over Evanston and Riverton. On Friday, the KW boys blitzed Riverton 56-35 thanks to 15 points from Sam Marsh and 12 points from Grant Murphy. The Trojans had a much more competitive game on Saturday as they defeated Evanston  48-45 to get to 6-7 on the year. Manny N'Tula threw in 16 for KW on Saturday. For the  girls, Kelly Walsh beat Riverton on Friday 43-35 thanks to 13 points from Jamia Johnson and 12 from Madison Vinich. The Trojans managed to survive Evanston on Saturday 41-39. Evanston was fouled on a 3 point attempt with .06 seconds to go and missed 2 of 3 free throws. Vinich led the Lady Trojans with 16 as they improve to 4-9 on the year. The KW teams will host Rock Springs and Green River on Friday and Saturday.
