Kelly Walsh Girls Place 6th at 4A State Track

The Kelly Walsh girls track team was the 6th place finisher at the 4A State Track Meet over the weekend in Casper. Maddison Dedic won the championship in the shot put with a toss of 40 feet 5 and a quarter inches. She also finished 10th in the discus. Jamia Johnson was a top 6 finisher in the shot. Louise Vilhelmsson took the silver medal in the high jump at 5-2 with Kaily Walker taking 5th in the long jump and 7th in the triple jump.

On the track, the KW 4x100 relay team of Grace Cellecz, Clacie Simmons, Cece Szymaczak and Taylor Rowe ran 49.97 to finish first. Szymaczak took 5th in the 100 meter dash. Madison Coventry took 4th in the high jump at 5-2
