Kelly Walsh Trojans Turn Over A Victory to The Broncs in Sheridan

The Kelly Walsh Trojans trailed by 3 points to the Sheridan Broncs with just over 6 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, in a hard fought football game.

KW played extremely well keeping the Broncs at bay for 3 quarters.  A stop on defense by the Trojans forced the Broncs to punt the ball away and that is when the game came undone for Coach Vance and KW.

The punt sailed deep into KW territory and the fair catch was fumbled with the Broncs taking advantage after recovering the fumble at KW's 2 yd line.  The Broncs punched it into the end zone a play later, putting them up by 9 - 19-10.

KW tried to force the ball down field but the Broncs were waiting and intercepted an errant pass which led to another Bronc touchdown making it 26-10.

KW would turn the ball over 2 more times before the conclusion of the contest.

In all, it was a great effort from the young men at KW and they were in the fight until half way through the 4th.  KW will continue to grow together as a team and you can expect them to have a good run towards the 2013 playoffs.
