In high school soccer from Tuesday night as Kelly Walsh and Natrona girls teams were at home hosting Laramie and Riverton. Kelly Walsh beat Riverton 3-0. Kristen Franke, Rachelle Zirger and Rachel Mullun scored goals for the Trojans. The Trojans with the win go to 3-3 overall. Riverton drops to 1-1-1. The Fillies lost to Laramie 2-1. Peyton Dean scored the lone goal for Natrona. Laramie got 2 goals from Ariel Romero. The Fillies are now 3-1 and Laramie is 3-0. The Kelly Walsh boys were on the road to Riverton and played to a scoreless tie. Natrona boys were beaten by Laramie 2-0. Gillette Head Boys Basketball Coach Mike Curry is going to resign after 30 years on the job. Curry led the Camels to 12 state championships and won 605 games in his career. Since 1983, he has won 80 percent of his games. This year's team finished 4th in the 4A boys tournament with a 23-4 record. Gillette has made it to the state tournament 26 years in a row and made at least the semifinals in 24 of those years.

In pro football, the Baltimore Ravens officially introduced Elvis Dumervil. He signed a 5-year $35-million contract, with $8.5-million coming in the first year. Dumervil played his first 7 years with the Denver Broncos and recorded 63 sacks during that time period. But the Broncos wanted him to take a pay cut, then after a restructured deal was worked out, Dumervil's agent at the time didn't fax the paper work in time, so the Broncos released him or they would have to be on the hook for $12-million for this coming season. The Broncos now in search of somebody who can register some sacks and will be looking at free agents Dwight Freeney and John Abraham.

In spring training baseball, the Colorado Rockies defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-6. Newly acquired pitcher Jon Garland threw 6 good innings giving up one run and 5 hits with one walk.
