KW/NC To Host Evanston And Green River-Daily Sports Update
High school boys basketball this weekend in Casper as Kelly Walsh and Natrona will host Evanston and Green River. Kelly Walsh will take on Green River tonight. The Trojans are 9-9 and 3-2 in the 4A West Conference. The Wolves are 0-5 in the conference and 4-13 overall. Pregame show is at 7:15pm with the game time at 7:30 on AM 1400 ESPN.
Evanston is at Natrona tonight. The Mustangs are 6-10 and 2-3 in the West Conference. Evanston is 4-1 in the conference and 11-7 overall. Tip-off is at 7:00pm. Evanston and Green River will switch tomorrow with Evanston at Kelly Walsh and Green River at Natrona.
The Natrona and Kelly Walsh girls head west to Green River and Evanston. The Fillies are 14-3 overall and 5-0 in the 4A West Conference and they will be at Evanston tonight who is 5-13 overall and 2-3 in the conference. Kelly Walsh 3-14 overall and 3-2 in the conference will be at Green River tonight. The Wolves are 1-4 in the conference and 4-14 overall. Saturday, NC will be at Green River and KW will be at Evanston.
The Wyoming Cowboys return to Mountain West Conference basketball Saturday when they travel to Boise State. The Pokes beat Cal-Bakersfield on Wednesday to move their overall record to 16-6 as they begin the 2nd half of the conference season. The Cowboys are 2-6 in conference play. Boise State is 3-5 and overall at 15-7. Game time is 6:00pm on AM 1030 KTWO.
The Wyoming Cowgirls will be at home Saturday afternoon when they begin the 2nd half of the Mountain West Conference schedule. The Cowgirls are 17-4 overall and 6-2 in conference. Their opponents, Boise State is 3-5 in the conference and 10-11 overall. Tip-off is at 2:00pm from the AA in Laramie.
In junior college basketball, the Casper College teams are on the road Saturday in Miles City, Montana. Both teams are coming off wins Wednesday night at home over Dawson Community College of Glendive, Montana. The women's game is at 3:00pm and the men to follow at 5:00 on AM 1400 ESPN.
