UNDATED (AP) — The Anaheim Ducks have suffered their first regulation home loss of the season.

The Ducks had been 20-0-2 on home ice until Winnipeg scored three straight goals in a 3-2 win over Anaheim. Blake Wheeler and Andrew Ladd scored first-period goals before Evander Kane's short-handed tally put the Jets ahead 3-1 late in the second.

Ondrej Pavelec (AHN'-dray PAV'-uh-lihk) stopped 40 shots to help the Jets move back to .500.

The Ducks lost for just the third time in their last 22 games overall.

The St. Louis Blues had been 14-2-1 against the NHL's Eastern Conference teams before suffering their most lopsided loss of the season.

Mark Fayne and Ryan Carter scored 24 seconds apart early in the first period to jumpstart the New Jersey Devils' offense in a 7-1 rout of the Blues. Damien Brunner and Eric Gelinas (ZHEH'-lih-nuh) each had a goal and two assists for the Devils, who had just completed a 1-1-2 road trip before handing St. Louis its third loss in four games.

It was a season high for goals by New Jersey and goals allowed by the Blues, who were 15-5-3 on the road.

DETROIT (AP) — Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard has been ruled out for at least a week after injuring his left knee again during Monday night's game against St. Louis.

Howard sprained a ligament in his left knee two months ago and missed eight games. He returned in time to be named to the U.S. team for the Winter Olympics. Howard insists he is not concerned about missing the Sochi Games.
