ESPN's Joe Schad tweets tonight that sources close to the LSU coach say that should the Michigan meetings prove productive, he would likely accept.   Could impact Husker fans as well.    Here's the story, from HuskerExtra.com:

The LSU football coach told reporters he will indeed talk with Michigan brass about the Wolverines' open coaching position.

"I'm told that we will speak. That time and place has not been identified," Miles said Monday. "It's hard for me to speculate to the substance of the meeting."

Were he offered the Michigan job, a source close to Miles told ESPN.com that the LSU coach would accept.

If Miles were to end up in Ann Arbor, it's sure to create some angst around these parts. It's popular belief that LSU could make Nebraska coach Bo Pelini one of its leading targets if the Tigers were forced to look for a new head coach.

Pelini was defensive coordinator at LSU from 2005 to 2007, helping the Tigers to a national championship before he came to Nebraska.

Miles, who was a player and assistant at Michigan, had his name come up the last time the Wolverines conducted a coaching search.
