Milward Simpson Award Winners Announced

The winners for the Milward Simpson award, given to the states outstanding male and female high school athletes of the year were announced over the weekend. The girl's winner was Ann Wingeleth from Lyman. She was a 4 event winner at the state track meet with overall state records in the high jump and the long jump. Wingeleth will attend the University of Utah for track and field. The boys winner was Tevis Bartlett from Cheyenne East. He is a 4 time state champion wrestler and the East quarterback for the last 3 seasons, winning the state championship in 2013. Bartlett will continue his football career at the University of Washington
