The New Orleans Saints rolled the New York Giants 49-24 on Monday Night Football. The Saints (8-3) had 577 yards of offense with quarterback Drew Brees throwing 4-touchdowns.

The Giants fall to 6-5 on the season, and fall one game back of the Dallas Cowboys (7-4) in the NFC East. The Saints remain one game ahead of Atlanta (7-4) in the NFC South Division.

The Denver Broncos (6-5) are coming off another win, their fifth in six games on Sunday over San Diego 16-13 in overtime. The Broncos are one game back of Oakland (7-4) in the AFC West Division. Denver visits the Metrodome to play the Minnesota Vikings (2-9) on Sunday.

Men's Junior College basketball tonight as the Casper College T-Birds host Laramie Community College of Cheyenne. The T-Birds (5-2) are coming off three wins during their Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend. They picked up wins over Colorado Northwestern, Cloud County, Kansas and Lamar, Colorado. LCCC comes in at 2-4. Tip-off is at 7:30 with the pregame show at 7:15pm on AM 1400 ESPN with Marcus Hayden and Chris Crossen.

In College Football, a couple of former Wyoming head coaches are in the news. Arizona State has fired Dennis Erickson after 5 seasons. The Sun Devils were 31-30 under Erickson. Former UW head coach Vic Koenning is the interim head coach at Illinois after that school fired Head Coach Ron Zook after 5 years. Also, former  Florida Head Coach Urban Meyer was named the new Head Coach at Ohio State. Meyer won two national championships in six years at Florida. And UCLA has fired Rick Neuheisal after 4 years, going 21-28 in that time period.

National Hockey League and the Colorado Avalanche losing to the Dallas Stars 3-1. The Avs are 10-13-1 overall, but just 4-9 at home this season.
