PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Brock Motum scored 25 points to lead Washington State past Wyoming 61-41 in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational tournament on Monday night.

Abe Lodwick added 16 points, 12 from behind the arc, and grabbed seven rebounds for Washington State (17-16). The Cougars led by just five points at halftime, but outscored Wyoming 35-20 in the second half.

Leonard Washington scored 14 points for Wyoming (21-12) and Adam Waddell added 13. The Cowboys were 16-of-45 from the field (35 percent), including just 2-for-16 from 3-point range.

Washington State will travel to Corvallis, Ore., to face fellow Pac-12 school Oregon State in the semifinals on Wednesday evening. The Cougars are 2-1 against the Beavers this season.
