Natrona Falls Short in 4A Girls Title Game

The Natrona County Fillies watched their 21 game winning streak go down the tubes as they were defeated by Gillette in the 4A Girls Championship on Saturday night 84-62. Gillette scored practically at will and led 41-28 at halftime. The Camels poured it on in the 2nd half led by Utah State signee Jesse Geer who led everybody with 24 points. Kalina Smith was a big factor for Gillette with 14. NC was 4-23 from 3 point land and were led by Abby Switzer with 22 and Katie Mayhue added 18. Natrona finished the season at 22-3. Gillette repeated as the 4A Girls champion with an overall record of 22-3
