Natrona Girls Sweep, NC Boys Lose Twice

The Natrona basketball teams had an up and down weekend with the girls sweeping Riverton and Evanston while the Mustangs lost twice to drop to 3-9 on the year. On the girls side on Friday, NC ran over Evanston 74-38 thanks to 19 points from Katie Mayhue and 10 points from Emily Robertson. On Saturday, the Fillies coasted to a 83-27 win over Riverton to improve to 11-2 overall. Anny Switzer threw in 17 for NC with Emily Robertson also with 17 in the scorebook. For the boys, Natrona lost to Evanston on Friday 58-50 as Kaleb Spiva led the way with 12. Saturday wasn't much better for the Mustangs dropping a 49-40 decision to Riverton despite getting 15 points from Logan Harbaugh. Both Natrona teams will be home Friday and Saturday to meet Rock Springs and Green River.
