Natrona Holds off Rock Springs

The Natrona County Mustangs earned the #3 seed in the 4A playoffs with a 19-14 win over Rock Springs on Friday night at Cheney Alumni Field. Cody Wilkenson kicked 4 field goals, including 2 from 46 yards as the Mustangs finished the regular season 7-2. NC played a much better defensive game after giving up over 600 yards of offense in their loss to Sheridan the week before. The NC win sets up Oil Bowl 2 as Kelly Walsh will be the 6th seed. That first round playoff game will be Friday night at NC
