The top-ranked Natrona Mustangs will host the Cheyenne East T-Birds in the semifinals of the 4A football playoffs this Friday night at 6:00pm at Cheney Alumni Field at Mustang Stadium. The Mustangs (10-0) defeated Laramie 44-0 in the quarterfinals last Friday. The T-Birds(6-4) beat Evanston 28-27 in overtime in their quarterfinal game. Natrona defeated East in the regular season game in Cheyenne on Sept. 30th 26-3. In that game it was tied at 3 at halftime before the Mustangs would get a 30-yard field in the third quarter and then score three, fourth quarter touchdowns by Breckin Biggs, Josh Flanigan and Cody Vollmar. The Mustang defense held East stand-out running back Jeremy Woods to just 54 yards on 22 carries. Natrona is also coming into Friday night's game with a 13-game win streak dating back to last season's state champion run.

The other 4A semifinal has second seed Sheridan (9-1) will host third seed Gillette (7-3). Both games have 6:00pm kickoffs with the NC-East game on AM 1400 ESPN with the pregame show at 5:45pm.
