NC Wins, KW loses in 1st Round of State

One day is in the books at the state high school volleyball tournament at the Casper Events Center and the Casper schools split their opening round matches. Natrona asserted themselves to beat Sheridan 3-0, 26-24, 25-12 and 25-12. So that will put the Fillies in the 4A semi-final against tournament favorite Cheyenne East at 4:30 on Friday. Kelly Walsh was a #1 seed but lost to Laramie in 5 sets, 25-20, 20-25, 25-20, 18-25 and 15-13. That drops the Lady Trojans to the losers bracket to meet Gillette at 2:30 on Friday.
