Wednesday was college football signing day. Five Casper high school players inked letters of intent. From Kelly Walsh, Isaac Bayer will go to Black Hills State in South Dakota. John Fabrizious will be going to Dakota Wesylan in Mitchell South Dakota. Colter Bentley and Adam Britton from Natrona have signed to go to Mesa State in Colorado. Ryan Anaya also from Natrona has signed on to play for the Wyoming Cowboys. In all the Cowboys signed 23, 11 on offense and 11 on defense and one special teams player. Of those 8 have played junior college football.

College men's  basketball from Wednesday night as the Wyoming Cowboys defeated Cal-Bakersfield in a non-conference match up 61-53. Larry Nance Jr. led the Pokes with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Wyoming's leading scorer Leonard Washington who averages 14 points per contest was held to just 2 points. The Cowboys return to Mountain West Conference action on Saturday when they play at Boise State.

In the Mountain West Conference from Wednesday night, 15th ranked New Mexico drilled Air Force 81-57. The Loboes are 20-3 and 7-1 in the conference. Colorado State held off Nevada 73-69. Fresno State upset UNLV 64-55 and San Diego State nipped Boise State 63-62.

The Casper College teams swept Dawson Community College of Glendive, Montana Wednesday night at Erickson Gym. The T-Bird men with an 89-64 win as Remi Debo led the Birds with 18 points and Ryan Madsen with 15. The Lady T-Birds with a 21-point win, 63-42. Taylor Koefed threw in 15 points, going 5 of 6 from 3-point land. Both of the Casper teams will be on the road at Miles City, Montana this Saturday, with those games on AM 1400 ESPN.

The Prep Game of the Week this Friday night as the Kelly Walsh Trojans hosting the Green River Wolves. Tip-off is at 7:30pm with the pregame show at 7:15 on AM 1400 ESPN.
