The Casper College women's basketball team has signed Natrona County High School product Jaye Johnson. She was a 4A all conference selection this past season, averaging 12 points a game. She shot 38% from the field and 71% from the free throw line. Johnson was a 37% shooter from the 3 point arc and tossed in a season high 26 points against Green River in the 2016-17 campaign. Head Coach Dwight Gunnare envisions Johnson as a shooting guard on a team that has 7 returnees. Gunnare has 5 recruits already in the books with one scholarship remaining.
