Natrona County H.S. golfer Caitlyn Skavdahl took first place in the Casper Invitational held last week at the Paradise Valley Country Club and the Casper Golf Club. Skavdahl shot a 79 in the opening round to lead the tournament by one stroke and backed that up with a sensational 68 in the final round to win by 15 strokes. Mariah Farden of Cheyenne east was 2nd and Kayla Allen of Sheridan. Team wise, NC won the tournament by 3 strokes over Sheridan with Cheyenne East 3rd. On the boy's side, Jared Edeen of Cheyenne Central was the individual medalist with rounds of 77-68. James Bisiar of Natrona took 7th. Evanston won the team championship thanks to back to back 73's from Brock Ehlers.
