UNDATED (AP) — The Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics enjoyed very easy victories last night.

Wilson Chandler scored a game-high 24 points and the Nuggets improved to 22-3 at home with their eighth straight win, a 128-95 laugher against Chicago. Kenneth Faried added 21 points and 12 rebounds for Denver, who had 100 points by the end of the third quarter and shot 58 percent for the game.

Daequan Cook's 19 points led the Bulls.

Paul Pierce had 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists as the Celtics blasted the Los Angeles Lakers, 116-95 for their sixth straight win. Jeff Green came off the bench to add 19 points, while Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry each finished with 15.

The Celts carried a 26-point lead into the final period and ended the Lakers' three-game winning streak.

Dwight Howard started for L.A. after missing three games with a sore right shoulder, providing nine rebounds and just nine points in 28 minutes before fouling out. Kobe Bryant had a game-high 27 points for the Lakers, who lost for only the second time in eight games as they try to move back into the NBA playoff picture.
