Nuggets Drop Boston – NBA Roundup For February 20th

UNDATED (AP) — The Golden State Warriors have opened the second half of their NBA season in the same manner they entered the All-Star break.

The Warriors suffered their sixth consecutive loss as Al Jefferson scored 24 points and Gordon Hayward added 17 in Utah's 115-101 triumph over Golden State. Seven Jazz players scored in double figures and Utah got 47 points from its reserves.

The Warriors dropped to 30-23 despite Stephen (STEF'-ehn) Curry's game-high 29 points.

The NBA slate includes Chicago's 96-87 win at New Orleans. Leuol Deng scored 20 points, and Carlos Boozer and Joakim (JOH'-kihm) Noah had double-doubles as the Bulls ended a two-game skid. Boozer delivered 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Joakim Noah had 15 points and 17 boards.

San Antonio won its fourth in a row as Tony Parker's 30 points and 11 assists led a 108-102 win at Sacramento. Danny Green added 21 points as the Spurs improved to a league-best 43-12 while moving three games ahead of Oklahoma City.

Danilo Gallinari and Ty Lawson scored 26 points apiece to lift Denver past Boston 97-90. Kenneth Faried had 16 rebounds to help the Nuggets end a three-game losing streak.

Mike Conley scored 19 points and Memphis picked up its fourth straight win by beating Detroit 105-91. Zach Randolph had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Memphis, which trailed by as many as 11 points before closing the first half on a 23-3 spurt.

Joe Johnson provided the two biggest shots while scoring 24 points in New Jersey's 113-111 overtime win against Milwaukee. The Nets had dropped 13 straight to the Bucks before Johnson hit the tying three-pointer in the closing seconds of regulation and hit the game-winner at the buzzer.

DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay each scored 24 points in Toronto's 96-88 win at Washington. The Raptors have won five straight overall, and three in a row on the road for the first time since 2007.

Charlotte was a 105-92 winner at Orlando as Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson contributed 24 points apiece. Byron Mullens added 20 points and 12 rebounds to the Bobcats' first victory in their last eight road games.

Luis Scola dropped in 18 points and Goran Dragic added 16 as Phoenix beat Portland 108-102. The Trail Blazers wasted J.J. Hickson's 25 points and 16 rebounds.
