UNDATED (AP) — The NBA playoffs will open Saturday with New York hosting Boston, and Chicago visiting Brooklyn. Defending champion and top-seeded Miami hosts Milwaukee on Sunday, and the Hawks visit the Indiana Pacers.

In the West, the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder play the Houston Rockets, San Antonio hosts the L.A. Lakers, Denver is home against Golden State and the L.A. Clippers have the home-court edge against Memphis.

UNDATED (AP)— Zach Randolph had 25 points and 19 rebounds and the Memphis Grizzlies ended Utah’s playoff hopes with an 86-70 victory over the Jazz. The Grizzlies’ victory means the Los Angeles Lakers are assured of making the playoffs.

__ The Lakers moved up to the seventh seed in the West by outlasting Houston 99-95 in overtime behind Steve Blake’s 24 points. Pau Gasol (pow gah-SOHL’) had 17 points, 20 rebounds and 11 assists.

In other NBA action on the final night of the regular season:

— Stephen (STEH’-fihn) Curry set a NBA single-season record for 3-pointers with 272 and the Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 99-88.

— Jamal Crawford scored 24 points, and the L.A. Clippers locked up home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs, holding off the Sacramento Kings 112-108.

— The Denver Nuggets secured the third seed in the Western Conference playoffs by routing the Phoenix Suns 118-98 behind 21 points from Wilson Chandler and 20 from Andre Iguodala (ihg-woh-DAH’-lah).

— Chris Copeland scored 33 points on a night that belonged to the benches, and the New York Knicks wrapped up their winningest season in 16 years by beating the Hawks 98-92 for their 54th win. Carmelo Anthony sat out along with most starters from both teams.

— Rookie John Henson scored a career-high 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, Brandon Jennings had 17 points and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 95-89. Needing to score 70 points to surpass New York’s Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant conceded the NBA scoring title and sat out the finale.

__ Dwyane (dawn) Wade scored 21 points and handed out 10 assists, Mike Miller added 21 points and the Miami Heat wrapped up the regular season with a 105-93 win over the Orlando Magic.

__ Carlos Boozer hit for 19 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in the Chicago Bulls’ 95-92 win over Washington. Chicago clinched the fifth seed in the East.

__ Brook Lopez scored 20 points and reserve Andray Blatche added 15 as the playoff-bound Brooklyn Nets held off the Detroit Pistons 103-99

__Kemba Walker had 24 points and seven assists, and the Charlotte Bobcats defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-98.

— Darren Collison scored 25 points, Dirk Nowitzki (noh-VIHT’-skee) added 16 and the Dallas Mavericks finished their worst season in 13 years on a winning note, beating New Orleans 99-87. The Mavs finished 41-41, missing the playoffs.

__ Derrick Williams had 21 points to help the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Spurs 108-95 to end a 16-game losing streak at San Antonio.

__DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points, Rudy Gay had 19 points and nine rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors routed the Boston Celtics 114-90.

__ Dorell Wright scored 23 points and Evan Turner added 16 Wednesday night, leading Philadelphia to a 105-95 victory over short-handed Indiana in what was likely Doug Collins’ final game as the 76ers coach. The Sixers have called a morning news conference today.
