UNDATED (AP) — Steve Mason stopped 38 shots, and Mark Streit (stryt) and Michael Raffl scored goals, leading the Philadelphia Flyers past the Colorado Avalanche 3-1.

Mason blanked Detroit 5-0 on Jan. 28 and stopped the Los Angeles Kings 2-0 on Feb. 1. He was only 2:50 away from his fourth shutout of the season, and third in five games, when Nathan MacKinnon beat him for his 21st goal of the season. Mason stopped his first 33 shots.

In other hockey action:

— T.J. Oshie (OH'-shee) scored 3:29 into overtime, leading the St. Louis Blues to a 3-2 victory over the Boston Bruins. The Blues swept the season series from Boston 2-0.

— David Jones scored the tiebreaking goal late in the third period and rookie Reto Berra made 28 saves as the Calgary Flames beat the New York Islanders 4-2.

__ Washington doubled up Winnipeg 4-2. Alex Ovechkin (oh-VECH'-kin) notched his league-leading 40th goal.

— Nail Yakupov scored with 1:38 left in regulation to give the Edmonton Oilers to a 2-1 win over the New York Rangers.

__ Ottawa nipped Buffalo 3-2. Milan Michalek (MEE'-lahn muh-KAHL'-ihk) scored his second goal of the game with 23 seconds left.

— Gustav Nyquist scored the go-ahead goal in the second period, helping lift the Detroit Red Wings over the Florida Panthers.

— Jonathan Bernier (burn-YAY') made 33 saves and the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1.

__ Minnesota beat Nashville 3-2 in overtime. Nino Niederreiter (nee-dur-RY'-tur) got the game-winner.

__ Montreal won its second in a row, 5-2 over Vancouver. Max Pacioretty (pah-chee-ohr-EH'-tee) got the hat trick. He has 26 goals.

__ The L.A. Kings nipped Columbus 2-1 in overtime. Robyn Negehr (neh-GAIR') got the game-winner in OT.
