The Wyoming Cowboys improved to 2-1 on the year with an 83-67 win over New Mexico Highlands in Laramie on Thursday night. The Pokes received an outstanding game from senior guard Josh Adams who threw in 26 points on 10-16 shooting from the field, including 4, 3 pointers. Trey Washington III had 14 points and freshman Justin James had 12. UW was 10-30 from 3 point land as opposed to a 7-30 performance in that 15 point loss to Indiana State on Monday. The Cowboys will be in Billings on Sunday afternoon to take on Montana State.
