CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming state high school football championship games will remain in Laramie through 2015.

The Wyoming High School Activities Association on Tuesday approved a two-year bid from Laramie and the University of Wyoming to hold the games at War Memorial Stadium.

Casper was awarded the bid for the basketball, volleyball, wrestling and track and field championships through 2018.

The WHSAA board of directors also gave initial approval for a cutline separating Class 1A 11-man and six-man football programs.

The Associated Press reports that the measure will return to the four districts for review before returning to the board for final approval. The proposal would adjust the current number of Class 2A schools and draw a line in Class 1A separating 11-man and six-man schools.
