Top ranked Natrona, led by the number one defense in 4A football shutdown Cheyenne East 34-2 Friday night to remain unbeaten. For the second straight game the Mustangs defense held their opponent  to just 35 yards total offense, all of it through the air. Natrona also picked off 3 Tevis Bartlett passes, one each by Brecken Biggs his 7th of the season, Josh Flanagan and Dan Reese.

Natrona's offense, below their usual 400 plus yards still had good balance with 120 yards rushing and 118 yards passing. Biggs was 12 of 22 with Austin Ducello his top receiver with 7 receptions for 92 yards including a 13 yard touchdown reception. Flanagan led the Mustangs with 63 yards rushing on 19 carries with touchdown runs of 5 and 1 yards. Biggs added 50 yards in rushing including a 1 yard touchdown. Logan Wilson kicked a pair of 21 yard field goals.

The Mustangs (6-0) host Evanston next Friday night. Cheyenne East (4-2) host Rock Springs. The Prep Game of the Week next Friday Oct. 5th will be Kelly Walsh at Cheyenne South.
