Led by the rushing of Nate Kane and Daniel Sessions, the Sheridan Broncs beat the Kelly Walsh Trojans 20-10 at Harry Geldien Stadium at Kelly Walsh Friday night. The two rushed for 219 yards. Sessions had for 116 yards on 13 carries including a 43 yard touchdown. Kane the leader rusher in 4A with 103 yards on 14 carries including a 63 yard touchdown.

 The Trojans had their chances getting inside the Sheridan10 yard line twice but settling for just a field goal in the second quarter, a 22-yarder from John Fanto. Kelly Walsh was able to score their lone touchdown on a 5 yard pass from Jacob Tapp to Marco Sanchez in the 4th quarter with 7:30 remaining.

 The Broncs totaled 310 yards to the Trojans 265 yards.Kelly Walsh ran the ball for 149 yards, with Austin Sullins the leading rusher with 60 yards on 15 carries. John Fabrizius who leads the Trojans in rushing was hurt in the first  quarter but came back with 17 carries and 55 yards. Quarterback Jacob Tapp was 11 of 23 for 116 yards. Kevin Bakkehaug of the Broncs intercepted Tapp twice in the game.  

Sheridan goes to 6-2 on the season and Kelly Walsh drops to 4-4.

The Trojans wrap up the regular season with a home game next Friday night against Cheyenne Central.Sheridan will host Cheyenne East.
