UNDATED (AP) — The New York Rangers appear very comfortable at the home of the Bronx Bombers. The Rangers won their second game in four days at Yankee Stadium, nipping the New York Islanders 2-1 on Daniel Carcillo's game-winning goal early in the third period.

Benoit Pouliot (BEHN'-wah POO'-lee-aht) also scored for the Rangers, who are 3-0 in their history while playing outside. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 30 shots between the pipes for the Rangers.

The game drew 50,027 hockey fans to the Bronx. Game time temperature was 22 degrees.

The Rangers downed the New Jersey Devils 7-3 at Yankee Stadium last Sunday.

In other hockey action:

— Edmonton blanked San Jose 3-0 behind a monster game in goal by Ben Scrivens. He made 59 saves. The Sharks matched the record for shots against the Oilers, accomplished by the New York Rangers in a 4-3 loss in 1993.

— Defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago downed Vancouver 5-2. Brandon Saad (sahd) scored twice. Patrick Sharp scored his 27th goal. Marian Hossa (HOH'-sah) added his 24th for the Blackhawks.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Phoenix Coyotes will become the Arizona Coyotes starting in the 2014-15 season. The team has been known as the Phoenix Coyotes since moving to Arizona from Winnipeg in 1996.

The Coyotes will keep the same uniforms they wear now, but will have a new shoulder patch on both their home and road jerseys.
