Raptors Rally For 5th Straight Win – NBA Roundup

UNDATED (AP) — The Toronto Raptors have continued their strong start with a comeback win against Orlando.

Kyle Lowry scored 19 points and Terrence Ross had 17 as the Raptors beat the Magic 104-100. Toronto trailed by 11 in the fourth quarter before beating Orlando for the ninth straight time.

Lou Williams scored eight of his 14 points in the final period, and DeMar DeRozan added 16 points to help the Raptors pick up their fifth straight win and improve to an Eastern Conference-leading 7-1.

Memphis leads the Western Conference at 7-1 after Mike Conley scored 23 points to lead six Grizzlies in double-figures in a 107-102 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Beno Udrih (BAY'-noh OO'-drik) had 16 points and Courtney Lee chipped in 15 to help the Grizzlies pick up their 17th consecutive regular-season home win.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant scored a team-high 28 points but shot 10 of 26 from the field and surpassed Boston Celtics great John Havlicek (HAV'-lih-chehk) for the most missed field goals in an NBA career.

In other NBA action:

— Dirk Nowitzki became the highest-scoring NBA player born outside the U.S., delivering 23 points in the Mavericks' 106-98 triumph against Sacramento in Dallas. The Kings led by 24 until they were outscored 58-28 from the middle of the second quarter to the end of the third.

— Tony Parker dropped in 28 and the San Antonio Spurs followed Monday's comeback win over the Los Angeles Clippers by downing Golden State 113-100. Kawhi (kah-WY') Leonard finished with 19 points and Tim Duncan added 12 and 13 rebounds as the Spurs dealt the Warriors their second straight loss since a 5-0 start.

— Damon Lillard poured in 29 points and Portland outscored Charlotte 27-15 in the fourth quarter of the Trail Blazers' 102-100 win over the Hornets. LaMarcus Aldridge scored eight of his 25 points in the final period and finished with 14 rebounds in the Blazers' third straight win.

— O.J. Mayo scored 19 points and Brandon Knight added 16 as the Bucks held off Oklahoma City 85-78 in Milwaukee. The Thunder fell to 0-5 on the road despite Reggie Jackson's 29 points.

CLEVELAND (AP) — The NBA has stripped LeBron James of his triple-double from Monday's 118-111 win over New Orleans.

James originally was credited with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, but the league has taken away one rebound and one assist after reviewing game video. He still has 37 career triple-doubles.
