DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies have agreed to a two-year contract extension with left-hander Jorge De La Rosa. The 33-year-old has been a dependable arm in a rotation hit hard by injuries this season. He's 13-10 with a 4.26 earned run average.

De La Rosa's 68 wins with the Rockies trail only Aaron Cook's 72 for most in franchise history.

UNDATED (AP)— American League home run leader Nelson Cruz hit his 37th home run and Nick Hundley added a three-run shot in a six-run first inning as the Baltimore Orioles finished a three-game interleague sweep of Cincinnati, 9-7.

Despite taking a big early lead, the Orioles needed a two-run single by J.J. Hardy to break a seventh-inning tie.

The victory moves the AL East-leading Orioles 25 games over .500 at 82-57.
