The Colorado Rockies have extended Manager Jim Tracy’s contract. The club announced on Monday that Tracy received an indefinite contract extension. Tracy is 230-210 since taking over the team in May of 2009, when he won the National League Manager of the year. The Rockies went 74-72 under Tracy and were the wild card in the National League.

The Rockies are in spring training in Arizona and are looking at some young talent coming up. One player they have brought in is 49-year old Jamie Moyer. Moyer is hoping to make the club after sitting out last year with elbow surgery. He last pitched with Philadelphia in July of 2010.
