The Wyoming Cowboy football team went through their 2nd scrimmage of the spring yesterday in Laramie with the number one offense taking on the number one defense. The number two units also battled each other. The defense won yesterday's scrimmage, with Darren White and Marqueston Huff returning interceptions for touchdowns. On offense, quarterback Brett Smith was 11 of 20 for 121 yards and 3 touchdowns. Receiver Dominic Rufan had 6 receptions for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns. Omar Stover with 46 yards rushing on 11 carries. The annual spring game will be a week from Saturday in Laramie.

The Denver Nuggets concluded the regular season with a 118-98 win over Phoenix. The Nuggets have won 23 games in a row at home and finished with 57 wins in the regular season, which is a franchise record. Denver will host Golden State on Saturday in game 1 of their playoff series. Game 2 will be on Tuesday.
