Roughnecks Eliminated From Legion “B” Tournament

The Casper Roughnecks saw their season come to a close after a 7-3 loss to Cody in the 3rd round of the State American Legion "B" tournament at Lansing Field in Casper. The Roughnecks, made up of 14-15-16 year olds, lost their first game to Gillette in extra inning 9-8 on Wednesday, then came back with a 14-6 win over Laramie on Thursday only to lose to Cody on Friday morning. Cody scored 4 runs in the first inning and their pitching was solid start to finish. Casper finishes the season with a record of 17-25.
