It was signing day for college basketball on Wednesday. Wyoming Men's Basketball Coach Larry Shyatt signed four players, one in-state with Jason McManamen of Torrington who averaged 16 points a game for the Blazers last year. Also signing with the Pokes was 6-1 point guard Josh Adams of Parker, Colorado, 6-9 forward Austin Halderson of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and 6-10 center Matt Sellers who played his junior college ball at Western Wyoming Junior College in Rock Springs.

Wyoming Cowgirl Head Coach Joe Legerski signed three players, including Fallon Lewis who was an All-Stater at Tongue River High School and an All-Region IX player at Sheridan College. Also signing with the Cowgirls was guard Marquelle Dent who's father Sean is a former Cowboy player and forward Whitney Gordon from Marion, Kansas.

Casper College point guard Denzel Douglas signed with the University of Idaho of the Western Athletic Conference. Douglas averaged seven points and four rebounds for the T-Birds last season. In volleyball, Casper Natrona's Cooper Cercy signed on with Division-II Mesa State in Grand Junction, Colorado. Cercy plays the Libero position had over 300 digs this past season.

The Wyoming Cowboys continue to prepare for a Mountain West Conference road game at Air Force on Saturday afternoon. The Pokes are 5-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play, after losing to TCU last Saturday in Laramie 30-21. Air Force is 5-4 overall and 1-3 in the Mountain West. Kickoff is at noon and can be heard on AM 1030 KTWO.
