The State Fast Pitch Softball Tournament wrapped up in Casper on Sunday. Over 40 teams competed from ages 7-18 in competitive and recreational divisions. In the under 18 competitive group, the Cheyenne Extreme won the state championship for the 4th year in a row. The Green River Chaos captured the under 18 rec division. Cheyenne also captured the U-16 competitive division with the Douglas Dynamite winning the U-16 rec division. The U-14 competitive state champion was the Torrington Twisters with Green River emerging on top of the rec division. The Cheyenne Extreme made it 3 state titles by winning the U12 competitive while the Casper Sliders took home the trophy in the rec division. Finally, the Gillette Blue Jays won the U-10 competitive and recreational divisions.
