T-Birds Grab #2 Seed at Region IX Tournament

The Casper College volleyball team rode a 4 game winning streak at the end of the season to secure the #2 seed at the Region IX north tournament that starts Wednesday in Rock Springs. The Birds finished the regular season 23-11 after a thrilling 3 games to 2 win over Western Wyoming on Thursday night. The T-Birds will meet Eastern Wyoming on Wednesday at 6pm in the opening round of the regional tournament with Casper posting a win over the Lancers last week. The top seed in the tournament is Northwest of Powell who is ranked 5th in the country The winner will advance to the national junior college championships that will be at the Casper Events Center November 19-21
