T-Birds Lose 3 of 4 in SLC

The Casper College Volleyball team lost 3 of 4 matches in a tournament in Salt Lake City over the weekend. On Friday, the Birds started out the tournament with a win over #15 Snow College 3 games to 2, 29-31, 26-24, 25-15, 11-25 and 15-13. The late match on Friday saw C.C. lose to #8 Salt Lake in 5 games, 25-23, 25-18, 21-25 22-25 and 15-5. on Saturday, Casper faces Southern Idaho, the #2 team in the country and lost in 4, 20-25, 18-25 25-20 and 25-17. The T-Birds concluded tournament play with a loss to North Idaho in 5, 26-24, 21-25, 14-25, 25-20 and 15-7. Casper is now 8-4 on the year and will be in the NJC tournament in Sterling, Colorado on Friday and Saturday.
