T-Birds Sweep Eastern Wyoming

The Casper College basketball teams swept Eastern Wyoming of Torrington Tuesday night at Erickson Gym. The 6th ranked Lady  T-Birds ran their record to 15-1 with a 55-42 win.

Not exactly a well played game from either team. EWC shot 26% from the field and Casper College shot 25% from the field, going 8 of 39 from 3-point land. Rosalie Cutrie led the T-Birds wth 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists. Shelby Stewart (Glenrock) had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

In the men’s game, the T-Birds beat EWC 81-74 to go to 11-5  on the season. Denzel Washington with 15 points, Ty Larson also with 15. Both teams will be back on the court tonight when they host Little Big Horn College of Hardin, Montana. Women’s game at 5:30 with the men’s game to follow at 7:30pm on AM 1400 ESPN. The T-Birds will be at Gillette College on Saturday evening.
