There's some changes in the latest wyopreps.com/Coach's/Media poll as four number one ranked teams remain the same. Gillette, Torrington, Big Horn and Snake River held their top spots going into this weekend's games.
Big Horn and Little Snake River boys basketball teams remain unbeaten through last week's games. The other two top ranked teams, Gillette and Torrington also notched victories.
The Torrington Trailblazers are the new number one ranked team in the lastest Wyopreps.com/Coach's/Media boys basketball 3A poll. The Trailblazers beat previous number one Buffalo last week 55-52.
Both Casper Kelly Walsh and Natrona sports teams are busy this weekend home and away. The Natrona boys basketball teams have a couple of home games tonight and Saturday.
Gillette and Big Horn are the new number one's in this week's Wyopreps.com, Coach's and Media boys basketball polls. Gillette moves up one with a win over then number three Sheridan, coupled with Rock Springs losing to unranked Riverton 73-70 at home Saturday picked up all eleven first place votes.
Number one ranked teams Rock Springs and Lovell suffered loses over the weekend in boys basketball. The 4A top ranked Tigers lost their first game in west conference play Saturday night at home to the Riverton Wolverines 73-70.
The Casper schools played their second weekend of the season on Friday and Saturday. The Natrona Mustangs ranked fifth in last week's 4A poll lost to top ranked Rock Spring 56-53 Friday night.
The Rock Springs Tigers are the new number one team in 4A boys basketball in this week's Wyopreps.com,Coach's and Media poll. The Tigers who received 7 of the 12 first place votes won their only game of the week over Green River 70-45.
The Wyopreps.com, Coach's and Media boys basketball polls for the fifth week are out. There's really no change in any of the four classes with the exception of 4A.
