Casper Ghosts

Tim Ray, longtime Casper and Wyoming sportscaster, who last year made a move with the Colorado Rockies organization with their Pioneer team to Grand Junction Colorado, has been named the top executive in the Pioneer League.

With the recent news of the Casper Ghosts relocating to Grand Junction, Colorado,(see story here) there was more than a little concern about current General Manager Tim Ray and his place with the team.

Though the Casper Ghosts lost a hard-fought game to the Ogden Raptors on Thursday night, they didn't lose any fans, as many gathered to witness the final Ghosts game of the season.

The Casper Ghosts lost their third straight game last night 12-3 to Missoula. Missoula banged out 12 hits in the contest, Casper managed just six.

American Legion Baseball teams across the state begin post season action today. The Casper Oilers will play in the North District Tournament in Gillette.
