Three Highly-Touted Wrestlers Join the Wyoming Cowboys

Three more prep student-athletes will join the Cowboy Wrestling program, the University of Wyoming coaching staff announced Tuesday. The newcomers include Archibald Colgan of Westminster, Colorado, Eric Hoffman of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, and Luke Paine of Billings, Montana.

The Wyoming Cowboys opened up play in the College Basketball Invitational Tournament with a 78-75 victory over North Dakota State Wednesday night at the AA in Laramie. The Pokes now moved into the second round with a game at Washington State Monday night.

The 8th ranked Wyoming Cowboys beat Northern Colorado 37-3 in the Pokes last home dual of the season. 184 pounder Joe LeBlanc, the number one wrestler in the nation in his weight class easily won his final home match.

The Wyoming Cowboys moved their record to 13-2 on the season with a 76-70 victory over Utah Valley in Orem Tuesday night. The 20th ranked Wyoming Cowboy wrestlers pulled off a big upset Tuesday night with a 18-17 win over 9th ranked Oklahoma at the AA.
