Kelly Walsh Trojans

In what can only be described as heartbreaking, the KW boys suffered a loss to the Sheridan boys by one point. With a final score of 49-48, the Trojans lost the battle, but they won the hearts and admiration of those in attendance. It was a tough loss, but still a game that the boys in green can be proud of.

The heart of the KW girls cannot be denied, as they showed it off throughout the entire game against Laramie on Thursday. Unfortunately for the lady Trojans, they lost, 49-35. That, coupled with a loss to Sheridan on Friday took them out of the tournament. But their heart cannot be denied; nor can their skill.

Driving through the parking lots at Casper College, one would start to get frustrated at the lack of parking spaces available. But then one would realize that, duh, of course the parking lots are packed, because it's the 2012 Peach Basket, and Casper has some of the most loyal and spirited students in the world.

With the Peach Basket on the horizon, what better way to watch NC and KW play each other in a basketball game then to...watch NC and KW play each other in a basketball game?? Confusing,  we know, But! That's just what happened on Thursday night as the KW boys and Girls played the NC boys and girls in what was a precursor to the Peach Basket, and we were there to capture you!

The Kelly Walsh boys and girls teams participated in the East-West Basketball Tournament in Riverton last Thursday through Saturday.

It's one of those questions that define who you are- questions like "Batman or Superman," "Books or TV," or "apple or oranges?" This question is more important than any of those, however. The question is, are you a Trojan or a Mustang?

Trojan fans of all ages turned out on Friday night to witness KW take on Cheyenne East in the former's home opener. It was a hard fought game that the Trojans lost, but they did not lose the support of the crowd, as these pictures can attest to.

High school football practices are underway at the Casper schools. Both Natrona and Kelly Walsh kicked off their preseason drills yesterday.

Kelly Walsh High School has named Randy Roden its new Head Boys Basketball Coach. The announcement came at press conference this afternoon at the high school.

Casper Kelly Walsh head boys basketball coach Scott Marietta has resigned. Marietta has coached the Trojans the last four seasons.
