High school basketball this weekend with all four of the Casper teams in action. Natrona boys travel to Gillette tonight in the Prep Game of the Week on AM 1400 ESPN at 7:30pm.

The Denver Broncos host the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday afternoon in the opening round of the NFL Playoffs.

The Kelly Walsh basketball teams are participating in the East-West Tournament in Riverton. Both teams lost to the Sheridan teams on Thursday night.

Natrona and Kelly Walsh boys basketball teams head north to Billings tonight and Saturday afternoon to play West and Skyview. And those same Billings high schools are in Casper to play Natrona and Kelly Walsh tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

Both Casper high schools, Natrona and Kelly Walsh were in action over the weekend. Natrona boys and girls were in the Camel Invitational in Gillette Thursday-Saturday and Kelly Walsh boys and girls played Laramie on Saturday.

The National Finals Rodeo completed the 9th round of action Thursday night at the Thomas & Mack Arena in Las Vegas. Wyoming cowboys continue to do well in the standings.

Casper's two high schools participated in the McDonald's Classic Invitational  in Cheyenne over the weekend. The Casper College Lady T-Birds dropped their first game of the season on Thursday night to North Idaho 69-63 in Coeur D' Alene, Idaho. The T-Birds had won their first 7-games of the season before the loss to the defending national champions.

The two Casper high school basketball programs opened up their 2011-12 seasons Thursday at the McDonald's Classic in Cheyenne. On the boys side, both NC and KW picked up wins.
