The Casper College Lady T-Birds lost their first basketball game of the season Thursday night to the Defending National Champions, North Idaho 69-63 in Coeur D'Alene. The T-Birds (7-1) who were ranked 5th in the nation in this week's poll were led in scoring by Bailey Holland with 17 points.

The Wyoming high school basketball season got underway Thursday with the McDonald's Classic in Cheyenne involving the Casper schools. Both the Wyoming Cowgirls and the Casper College Lady T-Birds lost Thursday night.

The Casper College Men's Basketball team will host their annual Thanksgiving Tournament Thursday through Saturday at Erickson Gym. The T-Birds (2-2) are coming home after a couple of road losses in Utah last weekend.

The Casper Lady T-Birds completed the sweep of opponents in the annual Pizza Hut Classic Saturday afternoon defeating Northeastern Junior College 74-56 at Erickson Gym. Rosalie Cutri and KeArrow Jenkins each scored 14 points to lead the team.

The Denver Broncos host the New York Jets tonight at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Broncos hope to continue their good play with quarterback Tim Tebow.

The Casper College women's basketball program has signed two area standouts to play for the T-Birds next season.  Shelby Garska of Natrona  and Shelby Stewart of Glenrock will become members of the two-time Region-IX champions next fall.

After starting the game with a 6-0 run, the Casper College Lady T-bird's end their impressive 2011 post-season with a disappointing 65-61 loss to Cloud County. While the final score may seem close, the Lady T-Birds trailed most of the game, at one point down by 17 points...
