The Texas Rangers have eliminated the Tampa Bay Rays for the second year in a row and the New York Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks win to stay in the playoffs. Philadelphia takes a two games to one lead over St. Louis in the other playoff series.

No official word about the rumored departure of the Casper Ghosts baseball team. But for the first time, the City of Grand Junction, Colorado admitted they have been talking with Ghosts owners Dick and Charlie Monfort.

The Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers have taken two games to one leads in the American League Divisional Playoffs with wins on Monday. The Tigers beat the Yankees 5-4 and the Rangers came back to beat the Rays 4-3, and both can wrap up their series today and tonight.

The Divisional Baseball Playoffs continued on Sunday with the Tigers getting the split with the Yankees, Cardinals coming back to beat the Phillies and the Brewers now holding a commanding two games to none lead over Arizona. The American League Playoffs continue tonight with New York at Detroit and Texas at Tampa Bay.
