Remember the show Friday Night Lights? It was a television show about high school football in a small town, and basically every Friday night, the entire town would show up for the game.
The Cheyenne East Thunderbirds behind Seniors Trevon Hinker and Jeremy Woods ran and passed their way past Kelly Walsh Friday night in the opening game of the 2011 season in Casper 52-7. Quarterback Hinker threw for two touchdowns and ran for one and Woods ran for three more in the win.
Trojan fans of all ages turned out on Friday night to witness KW take on Cheyenne East in the former's home opener. It was a hard fought game that the Trojans lost, but they did not lose the support of the crowd, as these pictures can attest to.
