The Denver Broncos second half come back led by Quarterback Tim Tebow fell short to the San Diego Chargers Sunday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High 29-24. Tebow's pass on the last pass fell incomplete and the Broncos drop to 1-4.

Tebow was the story for the Broncos as the second QB came in for starter Kyle Orton who had a miserable game completing only 6 of 13 for just 34 yards and a interception. The Chargers (4-1) had a good game out of running back Ryan Mathews who ran for 125 yards. The Broncos have one of the byes this week and then play at Miami on Oct. 23rd.

The Wyoming Cowboys suffered one of their worst defeats in recent memory Saturday night when they lost to the Utah State Aggies 63-19. The Cowboy defense had no answer whatsoever for the Aggies offense with Utah State ringing up 42 points in the first half after the Cowboys led 12-0 in the first quarter. Utah State rolled up 548 yards in total offense, and Freshmen Quarterback Chuckie Keeton threw for 5-touchdowns. UW now 3-2 overall will start Mountain West Conference play on Saturday in Laramie against UNLV.

The National League Championship Series got underway Sunday as the Milwaukee Brewers came from behind to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 9-6, as the Brewers scored six runs in the fifth inning. Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder with home runs for the Brewcrew. Game 2 tonight again in Milwaukee. Game 2 of the American League Championship Series was rained-out in Arlington, Texas with the Rangers and the Detroit Tigers. That will be played today followed by the Brewers and Cardinals.

Both Casper football teams came away with big wins on Friday night. The Kelly Walsh Trojans kept their playoff hopes alive with a 51-0 shutout of Cheyenne South. The Natrona Mustangs held on to defeat Evanston 14-7 to remain unbeaten. The Mustangs (7-0) can clinch the number one seed into the 4A playoffs with a home victory against Laramie Friday night. The Trojans (2-5) have another important game as they travel to Sheridan (6-1). The Trojans right now need to win one of their next two games at Sheridan or at Central to gain the playoffs. The Broncs with a win against the Trojans this Friday night will wrap up at least the number tw0 spot in the upcoming playoffs. The Trojans/Broncs matchup will be the Prep Game of the Week on AM 1400 ESPN.
