The Colorado Rockies have traded arguably the best player to ever wear a Rockies uniform.

Larry Walker and Todd Helton were pillars of the foundation, however when it comes to athletic ability, Troy Tulowitzki was in a class by himself. He could hit for power,  hit for average, has an Abrams Tank for an arm, good speed and was a leader in the clubhouse.

The Toronto Blue Jays acquired Tulo via trade overnight into early this morning. The stunning transaction will send Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes and pitcher Miguel Castro to the Rocks. Relief pitcher La Troy Hawkins will also go to the Jays.

The deal signals the start of a long-delayed Rockies rebuilding, and clears more than $50 million from their coming payrolls.
